What is Christian Women’s Job Corps?

Beauregard CWJC (Christian Women's Job Corps) began in the fall of 2004 with a pilot class session. In 2005, we started offering two 12-week class sessions each year to equip women with employment and life skills that align with the school calendar. These classes are taught in a Christian context, with mentors providing encouragement to participants. That same year, Beauregard CWJC became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity.

CWJC sites can be found throughout the United States, and we are one of three sites located in Louisiana. Our mission is to serve women in Beauregard Parish and the surrounding areas through a faith-based, holistic program that positively impacts the lives of women and their families in our rural communities.

The interactive classes are free of charge, and we welcome women who are ready to take meaningful steps toward achieving life-changing goals.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

– Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

Our program is interdenominational, and we invite community-wide participation in helping women of our area realize their personal worth in the eyes of God.

We are a hand up, not a handout!
